Ajosepo 2: The Gathering is a 2026 Nollywood romantic comedy-drama directed by Kayode Kasum. Set two years after the chaotic events of the first film, the story follows a new couple—Jide (played by Timini Egbuson) and Mary (played by Bolaji Ogunmola)—as they prepare for their own wedding. Once again, their extended families converge for the celebration, bringing along hidden secrets, unresolved drama, and intense family clashes (wahala). The plot heavily features challenges in Dapo and Tani's marriage, alongside deep family anxiety regarding the groom's father's ongoing philandering past.
Based on a true life story, the movie is a deeply emotional drama that follows unexpected turns in relationships. It centers around themes of love, hope, and resilience, raising the core question: "Would you know when someone is slowly destroying your life?"
The film revolves around a highly chaotic, "over-sabi" (overzealous), and troublesome character named Sister Agatha. The plot relies heavily on intense family politics, hilarious face-offs, and spiritual/church-related comedy tracking the domestic and communal "wahala" (trouble) Sister Agatha single-handedly orchestrates.
