One thing people outside India often don’t realize is how many incredibly talented women are famous within India but barely known globally. From classical dancers and playback singers to writers, scientists, and athletes, Indian women have been shaping culture for decades.
Names like Lata Mangeshkar, P. T. Usha, and Sudha Murty are legends to millions of Indians. Their work, discipline, and influence run deep in everyday life there. It’s a reminder that fame is often local—and some of the most respected women in the world are icons you might only hear about if you’re in India. One thing people outside India often don’t realize is how many incredibly talented women are famous within India but barely known globally. Just watched The Secret Agent on Netflix, which dropped this month. It’s one of those slow-burn movies that pulls you in with tension instead of big action scenes. The story is smart, the atmosphere is intense, and the acting really carries it. Not a “popcorn movie,” but definitely worth the watch if you like thoughtful thrillers.Just watched The Secret Agent on Netflix, which dropped this month. Shopping with kids should count as an extreme sport.
You walk in to buy ONE thing… and suddenly you’re negotiating over snacks, toys, and why they absolutely need the most expensive cereal in the store.
Half the trip is spent saying “put that back,” the other half is chasing someone down the aisle.
And somehow you still forget the one item you originally came for.
Parents deserve a medal just for making it through checkout.
